Oh my gosh, I love this. On my rotation the youngest patient I encountered was 16, and she did not like vecuronium one bit (cue RUNNING FOR SUCTION, because the propofol had already been pushed and she wasn't breathing on her own) ... I was the lucky person who had placed the tube and was the lucky person in the shower.
Pretty sure she was wearing some degree of street clothes and she'd been admitted for a week. It's not like she had a reaction to the vecuronium on purpose, but it was absolutely zero fun and coincidentally relates. Maybe street clothes are just trouble!
